Abbotsford Convent sketch

Abbotsford Convent Sketch

Abbotsford Convent is a nice place to visit and to go for plein air drawing. We walked around the farmers’ market, bought food and coffee, then found a shady spot to sit and sketch. Apart from the market, there were lovely buildings and lots of people to draw.

We were surprised to see a snake – I was rather freaked out actually – but it went on it’s way  and didn’t stop (thankfully).

  1. Lots of great detail here. I'm surprised that you didn't sketch the snake.

I have a phobia - just one look was enough to make hair on the back of my neck stand!

      Happy New Year, E

  2. snakes are more peaceful than most people realize. It's like a bee, just leave it be and it will let you leave.

    1. Hi Adam
      Thanks. I agree with you - it's a phobia and it's irrational!
