I was sitting at the end of a long table in a food hall. I found that to be a great place to draw people. Most people stay for a while, eating or chatting. When they leave, other people come along and I have new faces to draw.
For Paint Party Friday. Here are 2 more:

DeleteGreat sketches and I admire your guts to draw people in public, so brave! I love the dash of color on the first one, very nice effect! Really like the middle one, too, great profile!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne. :)
DeleteI too am nervous about drawing in public - although as a student i did it all the time. I like the spontaneity of your drawings ( i guess that goes with drawing fast before they get up and go!!) and your expressive line. I also like the first one which merges into (or comes out of?) the page. And being orange- it would be perfect for Mandarin Orange Monday:)
ReplyDeleteWonderful sketches! I admire people that go out and draw in public. I don't like people watching me when I create, it really distracts me. So thumbs up for you!
ReplyDeleteLove these portraits.
