Happy Hour |
I attended a talk a few months ago on happiness. One of the exercises was to keep a gratitude diary, in which we record something that we are thankful for each day. It need not be big; for example, it could be a flower that we see or a smile from a neighbour.
I kept a diary going for a while. Each day, I drew something in my diary and I think it helped me keep things in perspective...
Grateful for a new beginning...
Today, after 4.5 years blogging, I have moved on to a new blog, and a new website, which I am excited about. I am grateful to be able to start all over again... so it's a reason to celebrate.
If you are here reading this, you have found my new site - be sure to leave a message so that I know you came.
What about you? What are you grateful for today?
Dear Evelyn,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new start! I hope you will enjoy drawing and painting more than ever and friendship with visitors.
Kind regards, Sadami
Thanks Sadami. I hope so too. Don't forget - we will get together over tea one day. Soon, I hope.
DeleteCongratulations on your new "home." I like what you've done to the place. I know you'll be happy here. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am grateful these last weeks for having finally found my niche in art. It's taken a lifetime. I feel excited and energized and at last at home, at peace.
Thanks Linda, I am so glad to hear your good news. Very very good and exciting indeed. I wish you all the best. Ev

Gongrats on your new blog, looks beautiful and interesting!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne :)
DeleteHi Ev... congrats with your new blog... you know I like your art and design style! I live with an attitude of gratitude... it's in my DNA, a natural sunny disposition. If I journaled about it, I'd never get anything done! :-D As it is, I've not been blogging much myself the past few months. Big change coming up and my priority is preparing for that. But I'll pop by now and then to see what you're up to. Take care!
